This relaxing ancient Japanese treatment is an over-the-sink process that consists of scalp massages, oils, hydrating masks, and leave-in serums. Basically, like a facial for your scalp, tackling concerns like dermatitis and hair loss. After all, a healthy scalp is the key to achieving and maintaining healthy hair.

Play some relaxing background music, light a candle, and breathe in your favorite essential oils to set the vibe right for the ultimate at-home head spa experience.

1. Get started with scalp prep. 
Start with a pre-shampoo treatment to soothe and balance the scalp.
